LIVE Conference 2009 was an absolute hit - 150 delegates from across Canada came to connect with students and professionals, compete against the best and brightest students nation-wide, and succeed in every way imaginable. The LIVE Executive Team would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every delegate that attended LIVE Conference 2009. You all networked, partied, and competed in an intense challenge with great enthusiasm! Our delegates are the reason for the success of this year’s event and we could not have done it without you!

We are very pleased to announce that registration for LIVE Conference 2009 is now officially open. In case you haven’t been following, LIVE Conference 2009 is a two day conference hosted by the University of Toronto Scarborough on November 19-20, 2009 at the Toronto Marriott Bloor-Yorkville Hotel. We bring together the brightest and most ambitious undergraduate business students from across Canada.
Built around an intense competition, LIVE Conference 2009 allows delegates the opportunity to take the next step. In addition, you can hear some fantastic speeches from Peter Aceto, the President and CEO of ING DIRECT Canada as well as Merv Hillier, the President and CEO of CMA Ontario.

Once again, we are very proud and excited about having another huge name in business to be speaking at LIVE Conference 2009. This year, at our Awards Gala, we will be hearing a keynote speech from the President and CEO of CMA Ontario - Mervin G. Hillier.
Merv Hillier is an extremely accomplished leader - prior to taking the helm at CMA Ontario, he was the former Managing Partner of The Corporate LIFE Centre International Inc as well as being one of the three founders of the Smith Group of Companies. In addition, Merv is a Fellow at CMA Canada which is a distinction that recognizes community involvement, professional success, and contributions to the management accounting profession.
