Teams
I do not have a team. Can I still come?
Yes, of course! We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to meet students from across the country. If you do not have a team, that’s okay – LIVE will place you on a team.
How many people per team?
LIVE requires each team to consist of 5 Delegates in order to compete. Remember, if you do not sign up in a team you will automatically be placed in one!
Can we register partial team (less than a full team of five)?
Yes, you can. Requests can be made on the registration form – just fill in as many team members as you have.
I did not request team members at the time of registration, but now some of my friends are also coming – can we be on the same team?
Yes, you can. If you want to team up with someone you know, simply contact us PRIOR TO Friday, October 28th with the names of your desired team members. Please note that no requests will be granted after this date. Also remember that teams consist of five Delegates and Delegates must be confirmed (paid) in order to be placed on your team.
Can my team members be from different schools?
Yes, your teammates may be composed of members from different universities.
Competition
I don’t have any experience in something like this. What do I do?
Don’t panic. We ensure that everyone is provided with the basic information they need to compete. Prior to the Conference, an overview of the LIVE Challenge will be provided in the Delegate Resources section. It is strongly advised that ALL Delegates participating read this package PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT LIVE.
What can I do to prepare?
We recommend that every Delegate read carefully through the LIVE Challenge Overview that is posted in the Delegate Resources section of the website. This will give you a foundation of the concepts you will need to use during the competition. This section will be posted closer to the day of the Conference.
Hotel
I have friends I would like to room with. Is this possible?
Yes. You may request up to three roommates of the same gender on the registration form.
How many people are in each room?
All rooms are quad occupancy.
