Ambassadors

Since the inception of LIVE Conference, the LIVE Campus Ambassadors have been the voice of LIVE Conference at their respective universities. These individuals serve as the first point of contact at your respective university if you have any questions concerning the conference. Hopefully the “buzz” of LIVE will created on your university by these bright and talented individuals.

LIVE Conference 2009 is proud to announce that we have 28 Ambassadors representing over 17 academic institutions and programs! Please feel free to contact these individuals to relay any questions or concerns you may have.

The LIVE Executive Team is still looking for Ambassadors at the academic institutions listed below:

  • University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management
  • McGill University

Why should I apply?

As a business student, having an extensive network of peers and professionals is a key component for success. By being a LIVE Campus Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to do just that. In addition to networking opportunities, development of marketing skills, and the participation in the organization of a national conference, Ambassadors may be eligible to receive cash-valued rewards based on successful delegate registration. Ambassadors may be eligible to receive cash-valued
rewards. Ambassadors will receive $5 or $10 for each delegate referral, depending on their total amount of referrals. The Ambassador with the most delegate referrals will win a $100 gift card.

What would I be doing?

As a LIVE Campus Ambassador, you will be the voice of LIVE at your school campus. Your ultimate goal is to successfully bring students to LIVE Conference 2009. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Promote the LIVE Conference 2009 to fellow peers
  • Work with the LIVE External Relations Manager to create your marketing approach
  • Maintain and distribute up-to-date information about the conference to students
  • Address and answer questions about the conference

The LIVE External Relations Manager will work alongside you, providing you with promotional techniques, marketing collateral and any further assistance required. While maintaining professionalism, you will have the ability to promote LIVE 2009 through the methods that you feel best suit your university/college.
