LIVE Conference 2008 was held at the wonderful Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto. 150 of the most ambitious undergraduate students from across Canada attended in hopes of competing in this highly innovative conference. With a competition developed solely by the students and faculty of the University of Toronto Scarborough, delegates were able to prove their prowess on all aspects of business.
Throughout the two days, delegates had the opportunity to network with top industry professionals and listen to dynamic speakers from the business community, including an inspirational speech from President of DAVE Wireless, Dave Dobbin. Students were invited to a Corporate Connections Evening held at the Rotman School of Management, one of the world’s top-tier business schools.
